Click here to return to the index Preparations for the arrival of Air AccessAn expected result of the provision of an airport for St. Helena is that the island’s economy will be regenerated, through tourism and in other ways. The Bank of St. Helena wishes to work with businesses on St. Helena to ensure that they achieve the maximum benefit from this expected economic uplift. The bank continues to work closely with other organisations, including the National Economic Forum, the Chamber of Commerce, the St. Helena Development Agency and the various business sector associations, to ensure that it is able to understand and meet the needs of businesses in this challenging time. More specifically, the bank is introducing new and more flexible lending packages, to help businesses invest for the future. More details will be announced in the local media and through this website.
