Service Detail: Current Accounts
Bank of St. Helena offers its customers the power and simplicity of a single account, which combines the features of a current account and a savings account.
This means that, in addition to providing current account facilities, a Bank of St. Helena Current Account pays interest like a savings account.
Customers may open multiple accounts, for example to separate business and personal expenditure.
Accounts may be opened by individuals (including children), businesses and other organisations. Please see the Documents page for details and account opening Terms & Conditions.
The interest rate currently paid on balances can be seen on the Rates page. Please note that accounts offering a higher rate of interest are also available (eligibility and other restrictions apply).
