Leeanne Henry gains Associate Membership with the Chartered Banker Institute

Bank of St Helena Ltd is pleased to announce Leeanne Henry, Assistant Managing Director, has successfully achieved the Associate Chartered Banker Diploma with the Chartered Banker Institute. With this qualification, Leeanne has gained Associate Membership with the Institute and is now entitled to use the professional designation ‘Associate Chartered Banker’ (ACBI).

The Diploma is internationally recognised and demonstrates commitment to professionalism in banking. It enhances existing skills and knowledge to develop and demonstrate the core technical knowledge and practical skills that a professional and ethical banker requires.

Leeanne said:

“I am very pleased with this achievement as validation for Bank of St Helena’s creditability and of course myself. This course has enhanced my knowledge and skills and has provided a more comprehensive understanding of not only the banking environment, but also the evolving digital banking world. I will now continue my studies and have enrolled in the Advanced Chartered Banking Diploma which I hope to complete in September 2021.

“I would like to thank my family, our Managing Director, my fellow work colleagues and the Board of Directors for all their support, and also to former Enterprise St Helena who part-funded the course through their Skills Development Grant.”

Joey George, Managing Director, said:

“This is really exciting news, we here at Bank of St Helena are very proud of Leeanne and her achievement and wish her well as she continues to strive for excellence in professional and personal development. This qualification, along with the professional designation, serves as endorsement we are working to an internationally recognised standard. Undertaking continuous training and development will equip Leeanne with the additional skills and knowledge to assist the Bank in moving forward.”

Bank of St Helena Ltd offer their congratulations to Leeanne on her achievement.
